PHILOSOPHY + STYLE

I had an epiphany years ago that changed the way I run my business. I realized that I did not need to be looking around at what others were doing and try to do the same; I realized I could ask myself, "What would YOU want in a photographer?" and be exactly that, instead.

I treat my clients the way I would want to be treated- it's that simple. I try to give my clients everything that I would dream of in a photographer. I keep my prices reasonable and bring my full attention to every single shoot; I do not want to merely photograph you, I want to make an intent connection.

I truly care about the people I photograph and it is because of this that I am able to treat them just as I would want to be treated.

My main goal in my work is to capture real moments in life and to translate them into art.  We all have the ability to capture life's moments on our phones these days, therefore my job is not just to capture these moments, but to capture them as art; Art that you would want to hang on your walls; to send to your loved ones; to treasure for the rest of your life.  I want to create for you timeless pieces of art with your own living moments.

My style is a blend of Fine Art and Lifestyle.  Whether we are in your home or out in nature, I try to facilitate authentic interaction: then capture the real moments that follow.  I give as much or as little direction as you need, and make it truly feel like we are just hanging out and I just happen to have brought my camera along for the ride.

ANNA

I am an Oregon girl, currently residing in Southeast Portland surrounded by forests and mountains and an abundance of inspiring, creative, progressive people.

I am inspired by getting to know new people and hearing their stories of how they became who they are, so...

Let's connect. Let's grab a bite or a cup of tea, and let's begin to be friends and let the magic that can unfold in living moments, and capturing them in an artful way, become a reality.

You bring your life story UNIQUE TO ONLY YOU, and I'll bring my camera, and together we'll make something timeless.

What are you looking for in a client?

I love when clients hire me as an artist and not just a photographer, to capture their special life stories.  My clients tend to be creative, have a interesting sense of humor and a little bit of quirk.  and no matter who you are, the changes are pretty high that I am going to totally fall in love with you and your life story.

The majority of weddings are 8 hours of shooting time, however there is no right number so if your wedding is less or more, that's not a problem!  I like to be very flexible with wedding packages.

I bring a second photographer with me to most weddings with a guest list of over 150 people.  If you want a second shooter for a smaller wedding, that can totally be arranged.
